Unlike the 122 Labour MPs who bravely stood up to Blair by voting against the illegal Iraq war, cowardly Chris Bryant caved in and voted for it.
But not satisfied with his votes having helped to kill 179 British soldiers, causing the death, serious injury or homelessness of 7 million Iraqis and costing this country billions of pounds, Bryant then helped to cover up Tony Blair’s crimes and lies by voting against any investigation into that illegal war.
He is the one who should apologise.
