Thanks Kieran, would you believe it was a Toshiba Camileo P10 which I bought brand new for €110, it records full 1080HD to 8gb SD card but as far as the lens quality goes it's pretty crap, it works well in certain situations like up close or very far away, everything in between is very blurry, the autofocus isn't great, see my "StarGate" video for example, the "Summer All Year.." was the same. Still though it did an amazing job on the sunset, the Sea is next on the list.. :)
