@redosoable Oops! Brain fart. Sorry to reply to my own hasty post, but the writer of the song is Paul Metsers, not Paul Bond. Again, it's a great, heart-breaking song, and Nic Jones absolutely owns it.

Nic's version of this song is great--probably it's the definitive version. But credit should be given to the writer, the Australian Paul Bond.

Just how great can a singer be, Nic & his guitar playing must be close to the best sound ever, Someone recently asked me which I think is Nics best, I said there is no way I could pick one, they are all great!!

Absolutely lovely, I doubt that Nic would like to be referred to as tragic, so I will say, "I really miss this fabulous singer & guitarist". So many people over the years have been influenced by this unique sound. Wish you lots of love Nic. Thank god we have these fabulous recordings.
