Introduction of Falun Dafa: Falun Dafa (also called Falun Gong) is an advanced practice of Buddhist self-cultivation, founded by Mr. Li Hongzhi, the practice's master. It is a discipline in which "assimilation to the highest qualities of the universe—Zhen, Shan, Ren (Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance)—is the foundation of practice".

The focus of Falun Dafa practice is the mind, with the cultivation of one's mind and thoughts, or "Xinxing", being singled out as the key to increasing Gong energy. The concept of "Xinxing" encompasses the transformation of virtue (a white form of matter) and karma (a black form of matter). It also includes forbearance, discernment, and abandonment—that is, forsaking ordinary human desires and attachments, and managing to endure the most trying of ordeals. How to Learn

Falun Dafa can be learned in any of several ways. It is taught in most every major city around the world, always for free, and all of its teachings are available free of charge online in book, audio, and video format. Here's how you can learn the practice:

1) Read online or purchase the practice's basic primer, Falun Gong.
2) Find a local practice site* where you can learn the exercises and meditation or participate in study of the teachings.
3) Learn the basics of the exercises by watching online video clips.

在中國，有成百上千種氣功門派，自文化大革命中期以後，氣功就非常盛行。1992年，李洪志先生受邀參加在北京舉行的『92年東方健康博覽會』，在博覽會上，法輪功展現了­袪病健身的奇效。1993年李洪志先生應『93年東方健康博覽會』之邀，又一次參加活動，會後法輪功贏得了大會唯一最高獎項『邊緣科學進步獎』，李洪志先生被授予『最受歡­迎的氣功師』稱號。同年12月27日，中國公安部所屬『中華見義勇為基金會』頒發榮譽證書給李洪志先生。1992年至 1994年之間，李洪志先生應中國各地氣功組織的邀請，為人們做氣功報告，在各大城市傳授法輪功，短短幾年，由於其簡單易學、圓融明慧的功法及博大精深的法理，使學習者身­體健康、心性提昇向善，一時熱潮湧動，學員人數爆炸性增長，逐漸成為都市人休閒健身的一種時尚。與此同時，法輪大法在世界各地，特別是亞洲、歐洲和北美，得到各民族各種族­有緣之士越來越多的理解和珍視，法輪大法目前在全世界四時多個國家弘傳，《轉法輪》等著作已譯成英、法、俄、德、日、韓、印尼、西班牙等十多種語言。美國與加拿大許多地方­的政府，鑑於李洪志先生和法輪大法對人類身心健康作出的傑出貢獻，紛紛頒發榮譽獎章與訂定法輪大法日。
