  • Mexican rodeos "charreadas" Dont focus much on the speed of the spin. They focus on the inside foot pivot. Get ur info right

  • That is funny you should tell that to the charro horse's I have here they havent heard that. Also I use to board down south and me being me I watch the mex. and if they wasnt worried about speed tell me why the was slapping the heck out the horses neck.. And no I wasnt just one person ,,, everyone I saw working on a spin was doing it.... I didnt see one working on getting that foot set..

  • That is a bit I use for finishing horse's.. It has indepent action on each side.Plus if I pick up a rein it gives a horse a chance to know it is taking a effect. The mouth piece is a snaffle type that is broken in two places and has a copper center.. thanks for the comments.

  • @david12000000 I know many americans like to call a jointed bit a 'snaffle' but that's wrong, any bit can be jointed To be a snaffle a bit must have NO SHANKS - that is the definition of snaffle so the bit you have is not a snaffle it's a curb with a broken mouth.

  • @nags2bitches That is where you are wrong.. This is no curb with a curb bit is a bit with a raised part in the mouth peice.. the center part of this bit is like a dog bone snaffle..

  • At this point I dont worry to much about them seting a foot . I take one end at a time and as he gets better on the front end he will sick his foot better.. Now which hind foot should he pivot on . That depends on you who asked .But think about if he sticks the other hind foot he has to drag the other hoof. But if he places the same foot as he is going he can push him self around better. What I hear now days in the ring all they care about is the spin itself..Of course that could of changed.

  • @drnkphuk Don´t forget to tell us how ugly they jump up front as they spin....

  • Pretty ordinary the horse is swapping ends.

  • @nags2bitches Try difference between a snaffleand a curb wikipedia

  • @david12000000 OK Now I know you don't know what you're talking about ; try looking up curb bit on google and get yourself educated BEFORE you try educating others. Imagine putting 'educational' videos on you-tube when you don't even know what a curb bit is !

  • have you ever shown a horse?????

  • Good video... It would of been better if you would've explained to which purpose the initial movement was used...but that's my personal suggestion. You know...people like to spin cause it looks good, but in the horseworld every saddle, every movement, every word, every style, every technique has it's own little story. To know that story makes you improve as a horseman. but a good video man....and wishful thinking !
