Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP) is a simple image-order rendering technique. MIP involves visualizing the regions/structures with the highest intensity values. MIP has been widely used in medical imaging (often for MR datasets).

More info and the program can be obtained at http://tang3z.com/projects.php?display=mip

Notes: This program uses volumetric dataset which was originally captured from Philips Research, Germany and then became available on The Volume Library website (http://www.celebisoftware.com/Dataset.aspx?catId=3).
