  • The only heart rate monitors that will provide continuous heart rate are the Polar models with a regular Wearlink chest strap because they broadcast a 5KHZ signal. Most monitors do 2.4 KHZ. For strapless try the Sportline 960 - however you will only receive heart rate when you push the sensors at the end of a lap. Strapless monitors do not allow for continuous heart rate readings. • Nothing beats the Suunto Memory Belt. It records AND transmit so you can use it out of the water too. It is very accurate and it doesn't slip off.

I don't trust watches, the monitor MUST be by the chest to get the heart rate accurately and the MemBelt DOES.

  • Nice Music in the background. Can you write which actor/band/projekt it is?

  • Hi

I'm looking for a simple watch that can monitor my heart rate while swimming (50m at least) without using a chest strap.

Can you recommend me something up to 100EUR?

    Thnx.
