I only trust reviews from enthusiasts, hobbiests, amateus, and people with who aren't getting paid to give them.

When was the last time a salesman admitted the flaws in a product to help you make an informed decision?

It's just like IMDB. Ever notice how they don't publish user comments for B movies for a few weeks till you've gone to find out the hard way anyway at the theatre?

There's money not only in writing good press, but delaying bad press. Official sources aren't always reliable.

I'm trying to decide between these three "prosumer" digital camera and need some advice:

Nikon Coolpix P6000

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H50

Canon PowerShot G10

I don't want an SLR because of their size, and the fact that for simply viewing on a computer monitor (which I will 99% of the time) the extra photo quality may not be as noticeable as it would be in print?

What are people's experiences on the noise levels and general photo quality at low light levels with these three cameras? Thanks

I've not checked the H50 because getting a Sony camera is like getting blood out of a stone. I think I prefer the G10 too.

if u want a blury background and a gooood camera? just get the nikkor 85mm f1.4 lens and nikon dslr camera like d300 d300s and so on :)

its a good camera but it has a real problem with bluring out the background on portrait shots. but only works if the background is very very far away or completely white.

Well, you've had the G10 eight and a half months. What do you think? I've just bought one and I'm now regreting losing my G9.
