Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Battle of the Kingdoms
"They came from the 8 corners of the land, Wessex, Anglia, Mercia, Northumbria, Ulaidh, Hibernia, Cymru and Fortriu, to see if they were the best. And they were. But were they the best of the best. Only history will tell."
We have great please in introducing a completely new programme series for all competitive Yu-Gi-Oh! players in the UK and Ireland. The Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Battle of the Kingdoms not only gives you the chance to become Champion of your Kingdom and ultimately Champion of all Kingdoms but also the chance to prove that your Kingdom is the best.

From each event, the top 8 players will progress to the Battle of the Kingdoms final plus the top 4 will form their Kingdom's Champions and have the chance to win the Battle of the Kingdoms team championship as well.

FAQ
Q -- Do players have to be from the region in order to play in the that Kingdom's championship?
A -- No. All of the events will be open to all (except see below) however players are encouraged to have regional pride when 'Battling for their Kingdom'.
Q -- If I qualify for the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Battle of the Kingdoms can I continue to play in Kingdom Championships?
A - No. Once you have qualified for the final you are no longer eligible to play in the Kingdom Championships.
Q -- If a qualified player cannot attend the final, is their invite given to the next player down (using swiss rankings)?
A -- No. Invites to the final will not 'drop-down'.
Q -- If one of the the top 4 players cannot attend, will another player be entered as part of that Kingdom's team for the purposes of the team title?
A -- Yes. The next best player (using the swiss rankings as a guide) will be entered into the available slot assuming they are present. If not enough players are present then the team will only accrue points based on the team members that are present.
Can we expect a little Scottish invasion at Newcastle? Because we'll be banging on your doors the week after! :)
