Bill Strickland interview.wmv

When I was 16 or so, we were given a class project to interview someone from WWII. I did not realize at the time, that my Uncle Bill had just enlisted at the end of the war, but I am grateful I recorde him. Only a year or so later, he was injured after a fall and the doctor wanted to do surgery which left him vegatative. We never got to enjoy him after that and so here is a special memorial to him. IMy parents bought me a tape recorder for my 12th birthday and it was one of the first portable cassette models. I still have the cassette and transferred this about 8 years ago.In the congregation picture from left to right: Wanda Herman, Robina and Snady Herman, Beulah Snodgrass, Johnny Herman, Sherry Strickland, Nina Strickland, Ricky Strickland, BIll Strickland, Brenda Strickland, Katie Strickland, Clifton Snodgrass (back) Debbie Owens, Orpha Owens, Dude Owens and Mick Owens!
