Turn sea water into drinkable water... This video amazes me on a whole new level and gives me new ideas , the whole process of turning sea water into drinkable water rests on one crucial component.. THE POT THAT BOILS THE WATER... without a pot or vessel to boil water , sealed or open pot system , you are not boiling anything to make steam into drinkable water droplets...You need a metal type of pot / vessel to boil water for your survival ..you also need wood or something to burn , and stranded for a long time on a small island , you may use up all the wood too..

The other ways i know to get water are from harvesting it palm and bannana plants or finding a water vine, or digging down a few feet to find a water well or underground stream , but those ways are all dependant on the actual location you are stranded in, morning dew condensation , also catching and boiling rainwater , but again , you need something to boil that with ============================
So the only other way to get water when completely stranded with no other water sources , is from morning dew condensation and i think it may be limited , seasonal and possibly not enough for a long sustained survival period,, i could be wrong , but i do not want to find out...

Boiling sea water seems to be the best back up plan if you need a reliable water source, it all just hinges on the pot and the fire, you need both to make the system work. This is basic survival skills that we all need , especially if we have no drinkable water left , this survival skill to turn sea water into drinkable water is a must we must all memorize ================================
Everyone should know basic survival techniques, from starting a fire from scratch , to finding food , and drinkable water to making an emergency shelter at a moments notice.... We are all far from being prepared , which is my old boy scout rule :) i hope these video shorts help in some way or another , they certainly helped me:)
