  • did he ever put it on any of his albums I just looked and he didn't put it on his first one.

  • @jfeeney4 It's not on any of his albums, but it was officially released on the Bootleg Series, Vol 7, which is the No Direction Home Soundtrack. You can also find it on an unofficial bootleg called the Minnesota Hotel Tape :-)

  • You play very well! Dig your singing too . . . excellent job on this excellent Dylan song . . . one of my many favorites from one of the greatest song writers of all time . . .

  • @jubjub2112 thanks a lot!

  • A very nice cover of the song Sofi. I really like your guitar work as well. It brings back great memories of listening to this Dylan song -- and many others -- when he performed them originally. He came to our new minor league stadium last summer here in Allentown, PA with Willie Nelson and John Mellencamp. I've lost count of his concerts I've been to over the decades. :-) I look forward to more from you!

  • @hisnibs1 Thanks Norman! You know I saw Bob on that same tour when he came to NJ. It was pouring rain the entire show, but since people were trying to stay dry, I was able to make my way all the way up front and got to watch Bob smiling and having fun through the show from right in front of the stage, it was such a great night!

  • I'm a Dylan NUT a FUCKING NUT! One of my favourites, NICE COVER!

  • So many you tube videos don't show the guitarist's left and right hand and even more do not include the tuning. Yours is a great cover of this song, but PLEASE, tell us the tuning and show your 2 hands.

  • @FungusMossGnosis I'm picturing the guy on the road, alienated, emotions so beaten away that there is a flatness of affect, more like a submerging or squelching of emotion. Probably my own projection from my own past states. But somehow this singer doesn't ruin my vision with a lot of theatrics.

  • @dutuben12

Yes, but it's not exactly accurate to call her singing inexpressive. The word I hope you mean is: unaffected; and it's quite evocative for this song.

  • I play this on the 5 string...so I'm guessing you have a G tuning of sorts? I have the demo tape of this and your guitar sounds more expensive than his did. Cool stuff kid.

  • @Sofi725 You can also find it on the special edition of "Love & Theft" along with an alternate version of "The Times They are a-Changin'" :)

  • @Sofi725 He also released as a bonus track on his album, Love and Theft.
