Updated Side Swept Bangs Cutting Tutorial

I learned a few new tips and tricks when I was at Image Expo Houston. They were all about hair there!

My scissors were from Sally's, I spent about $20.00 of each pair. They should be more expensive because you want the scissors to cut with as little friction as possible. A clean cut gives you less split ends!

FAQ's:
Is that your real hair? Yes they are real. I come from a long line of people who have really thick hair. Lucky me, but I also get so tired of it!

ok so i got a brush stuck in my hair and my mom just went and chopped it out, its right where i would have bangs and its rly messed up, and right now im just pinning it back but my friends r saying i should go get a nice expensive haircut from some professional and get it fixed, but ive never cut my hair in my whole life (im 15) and ik that if i go get someone else to do it theyll cut too much off, what do you think i should do??? *pleeeeaaaassssee help*

To be honest, I was a little disappointed when this video came out because you inspired me to keep growing my bangs out and seeing this lessened my motivation. However, I'm still in the process of growing it out for now.

wow...i wish i was like this. I have thin hair and a huge, round forehead, so just cutting it like this won't do...it still makes my huge forehead stick out. i have to sacrifice a TON of my thin hair :(

i just tried it :) and it worked perfectly except my fringe wouldn't flow to the sides but that is easily fixed ^^. just pin my fringe towards the side and it will flow afterwards. thank you <3<3

wow! nice job. you are correct about using the edges of the eyebrows as guidelines, forming a triangle, pulling it to the opposite side to form the diagonal, and such. even your thinning wasn't so bad. ;) (this coming from a stylist)
