شيعة الخبر يصلون في الشارع بعدمنعهم من الصلاةفي المسجد

Shia in Al-Khobr, a city in the eastern province of Saudi Arabia with a large number of Shia, has decided to pray in the street after they've been prevented from praying in the mosque by Eastern Province president; Mohammed ibn Fahad. Saudi government barely allows shia to build their mosques, even though muslim mosques are exactly the same, five prays a day for all muslims, it is just the slightly different way Shia and Sunna do it. Saudi government has closed three mosques at Al-Khobar, and the man you see is jailed because he has made a portion of his home as a mosque which became a very well known for several years. But recently Saudi government decided to close it because, as they claimed, it is an unlicensed mosque, and as this brave man completely declined closing it, he got jailed for around five weeks without pointing any official charge to him nor he was sued.

لا يزال شيعة الخبر شرق السعودية محرومون من أبسط حقوقهم الدينية و هو إقامة صلاة الجماعة ، فالسلطات السعودية لا ترفض إعطائهم تصاريح لبناء المساجد و حسب ، بل تعمد إلى إغلاق المساجد الشيعية و منع أي شخص من تخصيص جزء من بيته كمسجد يجتمع فيه الناس لإقامة الصلاة جماعة . و قد تعرض الحاج عبدالله صالح المهنا ( عمدة الخبر السابق ) إلى السجن خلال 2009 بعد رفضه إغلاق ملحق في بيته خصصه كمسجد منذ سنوات عدة ليقيم فيه شيعة الخبر صلاة الجماعة بحجة أنه مسجد غير مرخص ، و أفرج عنه بعد أكثر من شهر دون توجيه تهمة رسمية له . لم يعد الشيعة قادرين على أداء الصلاة في بيوتهم أو في المسجد ، لذا قرروا إقامتها في الشارع
