Christchurch 217 heading down Kilmore Street and then Christchurch City Station emptied of appliances.
Not what Christchurch needed two days before christmas.

For the first 30 seconds you were filming right outside an empty block that was my home. I went through about 3000 quakes in that flat between and including the Sept 2010 mag 7.1 znc and the devastating 6.3 Feb 22 2011. The sight of the fire engines hooning past is a vivid memory for me, it's nice to see the neighbourhood again. On Feb 22nd by the way, the fire engines couldn't cross the bridge, because it had lifted by about a foot and looked close to collapse.
