This video is from four main people's point of view..

Cranmer- He always admired Anne Boleyn and respected her deeply. He is the only one who understood her

Thomas Wyatt- He love Anne Boleyn and remembers her as this sweet lady. He won't forget he was her first love.

The Constable-I believe he felt pity for Anne, at least in the show, and realized she was just a pawn in a man's game.

Finally, Charles Brandon- He disliked Anne, but also felt sympathy towards the end because he knew she was innocent, and her father was the one who made her play with fire.

  • Ah no... As much as I love Anne, as much as I love this version of this song and as much as I admire Princess Diana.... These three don't mix. However, Anne did live her life like a candle in the wind and the editing works well with the song. Kudos for that, a pity this song is too intertwined with Diana's death for me, which makes me enjoy this less.

  • @DandysTrades Yeah I know it belongs to Princess Diana, however, i feel someone back then must have felt that same way that Elton felt towards Diana, with Anne Boleyn. They were both rejected and frowned upon by many, although Diana at least had the love of the people. Both were misunderstood to death =(

  • beautiful Vid ...

No it doesn't!Original song was written for Merilyn Monroe in 1973'.Also listen to part "your candle burnt out long ago"song was written 11 years after Merilyn's death while Elton John re-recorded this(with few changes in text)in same year Diana died(or rather was killed by Mi-6).Anne Boleyn was called Lonely Rose Queen, this song(if we tale lyrics into consideration) is more fitting.

  • @ 0:09 it says "Goodbye England's Rose",Anne Boleyn is known as Lonely Rose Queen.Therefor every day on her resting paces tombstone one rose is placed.I don't mind this song being used for her.Whoever did good to England and it's people deserves to be remembered by it,so thanks :-)
