@wot4edge540 because the instructor sits in the left hand seat. Been on 2 air experience days and it's the same for both, so I assume it's the same for SFA

what was the course like? ive got mine in a few weeks, already gone solo on the tutor, so will i get much out of the course or just lots of fun?

lucky sod! yeah, you'll deffo get something out of it, along with the flying' you'll get a tour of the base and generally an inside into life on the base, get to chat to pilots, get to know the pipeline etc... oh, and shit loads of aero, you'll meet one instructor (pitcher) stay well clear! hes a nutjob! haha... but if your comfortable with the tutor you'll be ok. they'll treat you like a newbe like, and odds are they wont let you go solo, but you'll have a good time, good lot of people @ yeovil
