Part two of SUNY Cobleskill and Hurricane Irene

This video is the second one and it was taken at 5:15pm. In somespots the water reached up to your hips and there were very fast currents where rivers appeared out of noplace. As we said in the vid a student had tried to drive through it and didn't succeed. Two of many halls had to evacuate their first floor residents and send them to sleep overnight at one of the other dorm halls. I'm lucky since i'm on the fourth floor. So it is still raining however the wind up here has died down.

Lol. We were forced to go inside after that videowas taken so I was not able to get any more videos. But yeah we had a lot of trees down the next day and I took some vids of the literal river that was next to our dorm through the window. soo.. Yeah that was fun to watch. XD

Keep it UP! Can you post a few more videos. I am trying to get the word out to folks who think Irene was nothing... I would like to show them how damaging this storm was.

Thanks, but unfortunately the teachers and RA's would not let us out of the buildings after this video was made. My first floor about two hours later had ankle deep water throughout the floor. Its a week later now and the mold smell downstairs is disgusting. XD

For us in Southy, etc. it's the opposite. We still have wind but little rain. This hurrican was a joke relative to how much the media hyped it up. I dunno how it looks in the SGF, cause I was smart and stayed INSIDE today. ;)
