Wealth Acquisition Vs Holiness: Has Prosperity Messages Shifted the Central Theme of The Christian Faith? Prosperity Message According to the Bible: Prosperity Message According to The Scriptures:
Christianity in the last couple decades, if not Century has almost focused on Prosperity as the Central Theme of the Christian Faith. The consequences of this has been many-fold:
Disenfranchising believers who believe that they are not prospering according to the messages they hear, regardless of what they do
Shifting the Central theme of the Christian Life of Love and Holiness to that of prosperity
Ascribing earthly wealth as a yardstick for Measuring God's blessings
Fueling misconceptions about the Church of God becoming the business of wealth mongers
Prompting unqualified and un-anointed people to establish Churches with the intention of acquiring wealth
and much more.
Then the question becomes: When does acquiring wealth become a sin?
Many have asked other questions as:
How much Wealth should we acquire as Christians?
How do you balance 'an honest desire to prosper and the love of money'?
Can you prosper without loving money?
I have tried to answer these questions and more in this brief video, according to the Scriptures. I also know that some would have more to add to it, and others might be offended by it, but in all I hope it blesses someone who has been in doubt or confusion about these.

I definitely agree with you, I think The Church should find the right balance in teaching about wealth and prosperity, so that we don't end up shifting to the other extreme of approving poverty, which in itself has its CONS as well. We just need the right Spirit of Discernment to handle such teachings and their practicalities. God bless

That is the point though he does not go to the extreme and the teachings of Jesus does and that is where the twist I was referring to comes from. He says time and again he is not opposed to the wealth setting himself directly against Jesus. "God needs us to prosper for his house to be taken care of ". Does not the fallacy of this alone tell you he has not heard what Jesus has to say?

First off let me just say I am so happy you have found the true faith in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Ok now I was going to write on your video blog because I was beginning to think this was the other extreme which is to be broke lol!!!!
