Because the AB's are among the best and are at the leading edge and are good ambassadors who play a great style.
The guys only got 4th in one world champs, and they played negative basketball. I know it's still an achievement worth respect but they're far from the 4th in the world in ranking and ability.
Plus it's often only 5 men doing it. They're just trying to jump on the bandwagon and cash in, I can't see any reason why they should do it.

I don't think they were disrespecting the haka. It's something that's never been done at a basketball game in Canada and people initially thought they were kidding around. Listen to the cheering and appluase at the end of the video...they caught on pretty quick that it was traditional. Canadians aren't disrespectful and pompous like Americans.
