  • One thing you didn't take into account is cost of human life, how many actually die or health effected due to nuclear accidents/waste, how many die due to mining fossil fuel & health problems due to inhaling/consuming Fossil fuel waste.

    Apart from Chernobyl were their gov allowed people to eat contaminated foods & didn't dispense iodine tablets, which would of saved nearly all affected, the health effects is smaller than failing out of bed (statistically-true)

  • @CorkSkeptics Yes, you are correct. I don't have the data on all of that at my fingertips, but yes, the Iodine tablets were incredibly effective against the radioactive iodine everywhere they were used. And the fossil fuel pollution from coal plants has health impacts, too.
