The Burn o'Fochabers Woods are on the Speyside Way, right in the heart of Fochabers village, running down to the river Spey. The Burn o'Fochabers Community Trust was set up in 2005 as a limited company to purchase an area of woodland from the Crown Estate. This narrow woodland extends to some 5.7 hectares and includes sections classed as a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a Special Area of Conservation.

The Burn oFochabers Woodlands Community Trust is proposing to install an Aeolian Harp adjacent to the woods at the side of the roadway to the ford within the village of Fochabers. In the woods alongside, it is proposed to landscape an area to create an amphitheatre which would be used for out door performances by theatre and music groups. The Gordon and Ena Baxter Foundation has given a large donation which will provide a large part of the overall cost of the Aeolian Harp and its enclosure.

The video music is "Blue Orchid", by Savourna Stevenson (from the CD 'Touch Me Like The Sun' on the Cooking Vinyl label). Photographs by John Adam.
