Lego Mindstorms NXT Dragster

My Lego Dragster. The robot is set up behind a black tape line. The engine starts when the program is started. When the touch sensor is pressed the dragster waits for 3 seconds then does a burn out where the motors are driven for 1 second. The dragster then must back up and re-stage behind the black line by using the light sensor. Once staged the dragster waits and monitors its sound sensor for someone to yell 'GO', then runs for 5 seconds.

True this thing is not made for speed - but considering it can be made into most any toy, that's not too bad. And working on that rather than just driving a car around might actually teach you something
