Very common with all of these kind of videos that they're sped up to some degree - usually 2x speed.

It is sped up. Awesome though he is, all of his vids are sped and he mentions this in other videos.

As an artist, speed is not the top priority. It is needed on a professional level but you don't want to be really fast at drawing crap.
