So, apparently you're not supposed to call out your co-anchor's weave on-air?

I am a black man and I can honestly say that, he meant no harm, you can't expect him to know that unspoken rule...What you fail to see is that they are cool enough with each other, that she would even be discuss such a personal topic with him..That's like telling a man you wear a GIRDLE..lol

  • Why is she lying, that is blatantly a weave

  • Bet you it is.

  • THIS IS WHY I LOVE WATCHING YOU GUYS IN THE MORNING!!!!

  • GIRL YOU KNOW BETTA!!!!

  • LOL it was cute.

But yea, that IS a weave. Stop frontin' girl :)

  • I think its cute how white men dont understand the hair of a black woman.

  • @yamamefish VERY WELL SAID!!!!

  • @oldschoolruler I think she meant it's a not a weave (as in sew in). Maybe it's one of those with a comb, like a half wig? or something.

  • Hey everyone wears fake hair at one time or another. I don't think it should be a race matter. Like someone said before me, they both seemed pretty comfortable with each other and found the situation funny! Lol Unfortunately black women are infamous for wearing weaves, wigs, and extensions. Personally, as a black woman, I'm not ashamed of wearing a wig or weaves once in a while. But you better believe I got a head full of hair underneath it!

  • Although I acknowledge that there is an unspoken rule about saying a women is wearing a weave that people need to get over it. It is just a weave, yes it might have been embarrassing for him to shout it out but it isn't something to call the man racist over or to say that he disrespected black women. People are just being insensitive for all the wrong reasons. When women wear makeup and other stuff it isn't a big secret. And please stop claiming only black women wear weave.
