Boulder / Maxwell Fire timelapse from Sunday June 26 2011

This is two hours of video (sped up to 20 seconds) from the Maxwell fire near Boulder on Sunday June 26, 2011. Taken from near the intersection of 79th and Lookout, viewing toward the west.

The fire started around 5:30pm and this view stretches from 6:45pm to 8:45pm.

The smoke plume was dark and high closer to the beginning of the fire but seemed to lower and whiten as the sun set. Also, winds from the north started to blow later in the video, which pushed the white smoke on the plains south toward Boulder.
