This is a video from the windows-game "Densha de GO! Ryojo-Hen", which means in english "Let's go by streetcar!".
This game simulates the Streetcarlines of Iyo Railroad, Enosha Electric Railroad, Keifuku Electric Railroad and Hakodate City Traffic Bureau. You can choose from 27 (!) Streetcars, you can choose the daytime (Dawn, daytime, evening, night) and you can choose between 3 views: Normal Densha-View, Virtual-Cockpit view and Outside-View. The Outside-View is very lovely and you can enjoy the beautiful landscape and vehicles. You can choose between Free-Driving and two difficulities of Work-Shift driving. But you should look at the traffic on the streets, pay attention to the traffic lights and pedestrians! It's a very entertaining game and the PC-version has plenty of options to make it better looking than the PS2-Version! You can choose the Screen- and Texture-Resolution, choose the Steering-Equipment and many more!

More information about this game can be found here: http://www.unbalance.co.jp/honkaku/den_ryojo/

I purchased this game here: http://www.play-asia.com

  • On the first route, playing on Veteran Mode, there seems to be a spot where the cable lines above the tram have triangles on them. I don't know what to do here, and always get penalized when I pass it. Stopping and waiting does nothing.

Any Ideas? Also, thanks again for the help.

I'm using a USB plug for Playstation controllers, which works quite well, though a few functions are still exclusive to thy keyboard buttons, like switching views and pausing the game.

    - you close the doors (Key Q for left, W for right door)

    - you release the brake (left arrow key, right arrow key to attach brake)

    - announce next station (enter key)

    - accleration (down arrow key)

    - in veteran mode you have to announce the next station again, before you stop

At the start, there is a crossroad. You should see a traffic light with an arrow to the left or with a red cross. If the traffic light shows the left arrow, you can drive and the streetcar drives left!

  • How do you unlock everything?

I'd get stars at the end, but I sometimes don't unlock anything. So far, I got a few new train models to look at in the viewer and some scenery photos.

  • @JasonMabone

You can unlock extras for a route (new rolling stock, new routes, videos, pictures etc.) by getting more points in that route. The stars are the grades for how well you're driving the route, but there are also points for each shift. The more more points, the more extras are unlocked. The first route is in my opinion the easiest, so try this route for relativly fast extras!
