  • @xahldera This might because the people living in The Palazzo Tower (next to the depot) complained that the noise produced by the train or locomotive at night was too loud. And the MTR arrange the loco. run to the depot and prepare the maintenance work in daytime. While the train hour off, the maintenance train can leave the depot as fast as possible in order to reduce the noise.

  • Just wondering, where does the ER20 tow the G26 and why? Is it surplus to MTR needs?
