  • What a powerful Video. Your passion really comes through!

  • For many times are tough right now. If you need to make some money right now here's how you can do it.

  • There is no such thing as an item "already studied". My subject of research has not been studied since 1910 and only now can we make the appropriate questions to study the images. I would be less fanatic with material that has no real use, like irrelevant shards, but who would want that? People usually want to buy the unbroken jar...

  • Yes, there are may items not on display, but they are available for research. And I assume you wouldn't be interested in seeing most of them, since they are usually unattractive things that wouldn't stir a normal visitor. IF you like the storages so much do like me, get a degree and get paid for doing archaeology. Selling a piece to a rich person is not going to get the item closer to the public. If the owner does not want researchers looking at his prize, then we're screwed. Is that okay?

  • Most museums keep the vast majority of their collections in storage. Some of it ends up being part of a rotating display that the public can see every once in awhile, but much of it doesn't. The only real advantage of museums is that they can make researching the items easier because they can more easily be found by those who want to study them, but in cases of items that are already well studied there's not much point.

  • BS. You have any idea how many archaeological treasures are locked in some meuseums basement? Plenty, I assure you.

  • Never heard so much BS in my life! Archaeologists NOT wanting to share artifacts with the public?????Liar liar pants on fire! We don't want ODYSSEY to sell the artifacts because they end up in some rich guy's drawer!

  • Those Somali pirates ought to just let them to all the work then plunder the booty like real pirates. Instead their busy hijacking Sony shipments and all that nonsense. Be a real pirate for parrot's sake!

  • Well we hope you don't keep the information to yourself or prevent the information from being extracted by bad research and quick selling to the market. Actually, I'm sorry but you are bound to do it, so get of the business.
