Well you know the Austrians have history in that department .
Declan ganley, an irish american with deep links to the USA military suddenly returns to Ireland to out spend the major political parties in his support for a no vote. open your eyes, he is being funded by the US government to keep europe weak and divided

Ganley is puzzling most people, on the YES side and on the NO side. It is absolutely possible that he is being funded by the US military.
'Weak' in this context means militarily weak in comparision to the US, who attack countries because it is 'in their interest'.
If some Pentagon people fear that Europe is being militarized with the Lisbon Treaty, I am with them. I do not want that. I prefer Europe 'weak & devided'. Europe has brought enough mayhem to the world.

Yes, but id trade a turbulent past for a prosperous future any day.
Look where burning the candle at both ends has got our countries economy, biggest contraction of any developed economy in the world forecast. If it wasnt for the euro we would be Iceland already.
They fought for the freedom to prosper and escape oppression, not the freedom to fall apart on the edge of Europe.
Free from negative = good
Free from positive = bad

the fact that Ireland has been hit so hard by the so-called economic crisis is because EU and Irish governement promoted the so-called free market. In such a market, capital is really free. It can cross borders in an instant. People cannot do that. Souvereign states therefore compete against each other by removing social or environmental regulations, to make their soil attractive for the fleeting capital. That is why they now tax even your lowest wage - because you cannot run away.

So its your last chance for you to Vote YES! Europe has no time to waste! we need to move forward with you or without you! Jesus christ ... and special your country had huge profits from the EU is not that true??? And for those who complain that the government does not give them the information SUITABLE for what is going on in this Treaty shall not be elected by you! but again this is not an excuse! everybody has access in internet where everyone can draw the detailed information needed!

1) Every member state could always withdraw from any EU treaty; the fact that Lisbon includes this meaningless clause means that its authors want to encourage its ratification.
2) Calculations have shown that Ireland did NOT receive a net cash inflow, because international corporations have made high profits in Ireland but did not reinvest them there. Many leave the shores of Ireland now or are already gone.
3) "Representative democracy" is limited and information within it is distorted.
