Jesus went to HEAVEN when he died. How is that a sacrifice? He didn't even suffer as long as many slaves did in early American history!
Now if he went to hell for our sins, I'd salute him and kiss his feet. But this guy did nothing! If I could go to eternal paradise just by suffering a bit and being nailed to a cross, I'd do it too. It wouldn't be a sacrifice at all.
