This experiment is the combination of the "Captret" and a Tesla switch circuit. The goal is to have "free light" while charging up the batteries.

This experiment idea has been inspired by the idea presented on this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQJZs6tlj_Y

  • so the up and down of the readings is because the relay switch time is out of resonance with the rest of the circuit?

  • @harpbloke

I dont think so. In the beginning it was but when the system stabilizes the meter shows a very stable number. Now as the battery charges it does that because it changes its internal resistance changing the whole dynamics. Charging battery and discharging shows that pattern.

    Fausto.

  • I see it's still climbing. Looking good ! Could the voltage going up and down be something like a timing problem? Thanks for sharing.Tec

  • @tectalabyss

I would think it is just the way batteries charge at least to me it is behaving pretty much like other experiments that I have done when charging lead acid batteries. Hey come and participate at the forum (on the info of the video you will see the address).

  • @plengo ah yes, i didn't think of the battery variable.

thanks for showing this series of vids, to me its great to be learning stuff, especially on this very interesting subject.

  • @plengo

Thank you for the reply and the invite. I will keep watching with great interest It looks to me that you are on to something important. I wish you all the best of luck. Tec
