Casal se beija por mais de dois minutos debaixo d'água e ganha campeonato
Atingindo a marca de 2 minutos e 26 segundos, o contabilista Gabriel Barboza Bezerra, 25 anos, e a engenheira Patrícia Aliano, 28 anos, venceram no domingo (15) a final do Primeiro Concurso Beijo Molhado Mentos, disputado no parque aquático Wet´n Wild, em Itupeva (72 km de São Paulo). O casal já era o detentor do recorde anterior da prova, que teve início no dia 24 de janeiro. "Quando vi que não dava mais, me segurei na Patrícia para conseguir ficar em baixo da água", conta Barboza.



Segundo a engenheira, o segredo para se manter tanto tempo submerso está na concentração na hora do mergulho. "Você tem que mergulhar com tranquilidade, sem querer afundar logo de cara". A dupla fez o melhor tempo entre 750 casais que disputaram o campeonato.

Recém-casados, Gabriel e Patrícia passaram a última semana treinando em casa, no seco. "Prendíamos a respiração e tentávamos ficar o máximo
possível", conta ele. Patrícia é a forte de fôlego da dupla. "Já consegui ficar três minutos em baixo da água", revela. "Meu pai faz pesca submarina e mergulho livre. Acho que vem daí o meu fôlego."

O tempo alcançado por Gabriel e Patrícia é 35 segundos superior ao registrado na Itália, onde foi criado o campeonato, em 2003. Na edição de 2008, um casal italiano conseguiu permanecer se beijando submerso durante 1 minuto e 51 segundos.
