Right now, this is the most tasty way I am able to get a good amount of cilantro into my diet on a daily basis. This juice is almost identical in flavor to V8, and I am loving it. Have been having this as my lunch for two weeks now.
~Since adapting the raw food lifestyle 7 months ago, I, (Laura) have released 34 pounds. Currently I am 75% raw and still in transition. A medical diagnosis of severe anemia and leukemia prompted the change from a vegetarian diet to a raw food vegan lifestyle. I have experienced immense improvement in lab/blood tests as well as in energy and overall health since switching to raw foods. UPDATE: The anemia is now reversed and cured!!!~

  • Ha How crazy I make the same thing! put I through in kale, and jalapeno :)

  • Awesome Luster, I usually add spinach, but ran out for the video. I try to take every opportunity to add more greens. :-)

  • Its so great that you are taking control of your recovery like this. I am taking in more raw foods to lose weight. And what a great idea to give the pulp to your dog! I cant wait to get my juicer! Do you also make your own dog food from scratch? I was thinking about doing this for my dog. Still doing research on it though.

  • No, I havent really attempted to make raw dog food. I have favored a few videos on raw dog foods tho. I also add raw meat with occasionally with the pulp (when I can afford it).

  • hmmmm tomatoes!!! I haven't had a tomato juice during my whole fasting yet :)

  • @StarFlower99654, it sounds like your diet must be quite alkaline. I'd say that is very good. The thing about blood pH is that it should always be right about 7.4, within .2. I am always thirsting for knowledge, especially from people who are experiencing something personal. Knowledge shared is power. I was just wondering if there was any correlation between leukemia and blood pH levels. I was wondering because of the cravings that we discussed.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • Yes, i have ph strips and run between 7 and 7.5 a couple times was an 8. Havent done my blood. Dont need to get to fanatic about it, as its tough enough to maintain the foods and all the supplements I take (right now) as i intend to wean off them as I heal and am totally nourished by the foods in my diet.

  • @StarFlower99654, well lemons, limes and watermelons are supposedly the three most alkalizing fruits. Have you had the pH of your blood checked? Ever check your urine & saliva pH?

  • I dont know what I did without one! I juice everyday at least once. Good luck with your juicing adventure.

  • Thanks Delt. I have a followup appt in Feb and am anxious to get the blood results to compare. The last ones were done in Sept.

I know what you mean about watermelon. I was buying them up until the season was over. Every few days I was craving watermelon and lime juiced. YUM.
