A blind man, a deaf man and dumb man, who are friends, are at a convenient store shopping when the deaf man is approached by a horrified woman and she leaves her baby with him and disappears. When the deaf man realizes that the woman has left, he calls his blind friend and tells him of the situation. The dumb man, on the other hand, is terrorized to witness two women fighting and one of them attacks her with a knife. He tries to stop them and runs out to call his friends. His friends are bewildered to realize the turn of events and call the CID. What will the CID make of the situation? What will they do of the child? The series consists of hard-core police procedural stories dealing with investigation, detection and suspense. The protagonists of the serial are an elite group of police officers belonging to the Crime Investigation Department of the police force, led by ACP Pradyuman [played by the dynamic Shivaji Satam]. While the stories are plausible, there is an emphasis on dramatic plotting and technical complexities faced by the police. At every stage, the plot throws up intriguing twists and turns keeping the officers on the move as they track criminals, led by the smallest of clues.
