Enemies Attract [Nick Jonas Bad Boy Story] Chapter 36

[Madison's P.O.V.]

I woke up the next morning at six. Damn time change. I got out of bed and showered for the day. Afterwards, I got dressed, did my makeup, and dried my hair. I noticed as I was brushing my hair that someone was throwing sticks at my window. It was seven in the morning. What the heck?

I walked over to my window to see Caleb, one of my friends here. I opened the window and smiled. [Caleb is played by 13carl05 :)]
"Wow, hey Caleb... how are you?"
"I'm great, nice to finally see you again! How was the tour?" Caleb was probably my best guy friend, and Nick's biggest enemy. I really don't know why they're enemies either.
"Tour was awesome, thanks. Wanna go out for some ice cream or something?" I asked. He shrugged with his hands in his pockets.
"Sure."
"Okay, I'll be down in a second," I said as I closed my window. I pulled my hair into a half ponytail and slipped my sandals on. I grabbed my purse, left a note saying where I was going, and walked out the door. We walked to town talking and catching up on things that had happened.
"So how are you and Sam?" I asked. Sam was his girlfriend.
"Oh, Sam... we broke up two months ago," he said in a sad tone.
"Really? You guys were so perfect... I'm sorry."
"It's not your fault... it's that Jonas kid's fault," he firmly said.
"Jonas kid?"
"Nick. Apparently she went to a Jonas Brothers concert and he fucked her. So she left me, because when he returned from tour she wanted to date him." Whoa. Must've been when Nick was in his 'I'm too good for this world, I can have any thing or girl I want' phase.
"That really sucks..."
"Not really, it just proves she's a slut. So, what about you; any boyfriends?" I wasn't sure what to say. The truth, I guess.
"Well, you know Nick of course-"
"You're seriously not dating that prick are you?" he interrupted with a 'come on, seriously?' expression. I sighed.
"He changed." Caleb started laughing. "I'm serious! He's changed so much. It's like, a completely new Nick." He still continued to laugh. "And yeah, we are dating. We have been for a month now." He stopped laughing and looked at me seriously.
"If a boy like Nick says their going to change, it's a lie. Boys like that CAN'T change. When Nick left, he treated you like a slut and that was it. There wasn't anything 'nice' to him. That's why I hated him so much, and he hates me because we're friends and he wanted to get into your pants. It makes no sense, I know, but that's why. Can't believe you're dating him..." I listened to what Caleb was saying, but I didn't let it click in my head. I know Nick has changed. "I'm only saying this because I care about you, Maddy. I don't want you to get hurt like Sam hurt me."
"Nick wouldn't cheat on me, I just know he wouldn't. The old Nick would, but the new Nick is completely different. Trust me."

We walked back home after getting ice cream and said our goodbyes. I was unlocking the front door to my house when someone yelled my name from across the street.
"Maddy!" I turned around and saw Nick jogging towards me.
"Hey, what's up?" I asked.
"You guys want to come over tonight? Mom wants to know. I guess she's cooking dinner to 'celebrate finishing tour' or something like that."
"Um, I'll asked. Come in," I said as I grabbed my hand and pulled him into the house. We walked into the kitchen where mom was cleaning.
"Hey, sweetie," she said. She looked over at Nick. "Hey, Nick! How was the tour?"
"Pretty good, thanks."
"I missed you guys coming over for dinner almost every night, we'll have to do that again soon."
"Anyways," I interrupted mom. "Nick's mom is actually cooking dinner tonight and wants to know if we'd like to join them."
"Oh, that'd be wonderful! What time?"
"Around six," Nick said.
"Perfect, I'll make spaghetti."
"That's nice. Bye," I said as I walked out of the kitchen, pulling Nick with me. Nick and his family use to always come over for dinner before tour... back when Nick was a complete douche bag.

I walked Nick to the door and wrapped my arms around his neck, kissing him. His arms slithered around my waist as he deepened it. I pulled away and kept our lips barely touching.
"I'll see you at six," I said, opening the door. I smiled innocently at him as he laughed.
"Always ruining great moments... I'll see you later, babe." He pecked my lips and left. Forget falling for him, I'm pretty sure I've fallen.
