please help, im doing exact the same you do on the video, but y don´t see de difference and i think is shooting two pics not three? any advice?

@abhi8384 in fact, I am a starter too ;) yes, the lens is good for indoor and outdoor too... maybe you just need to turn your lens switch from "M" to "M/A" in order to switch it to autofocus. Try different autofocus modes (AF-S,AF-C or AF-A), or different AF area modes (Single-point AF area mode, Dynamic-area AF, 3D-tracking (11 points) or Auto-area AF. Before shooting don't forget to press the shutter button (only partially) to focus first.

@alexmottram07 sounds gr8, I am veryyy much new to photography! I am sure I can learn lots of stuff here :)
last night I tried using 55-200mm lens but for distant objects I got only blur images while for closer objects it gave me amazing clearity and effects ! would you be able to tell me why is that ? Is the same lens good for indoor or outdoor photography ?

@abhi8384 I'm glad it helped. If you have any other question we can share/answer it here; I am learning a lot these days about the Nikon 5100, I'm just loving it!

@alexmottram07 lovely, Now I can select HDR :)
Thanks for your help mate :)

@abhi8384 Another possible reason is HDR only works on JPG files, not on RAW files. Maybe if you change your options on: Shooting Menu-Image quality-JPEG fine, normal or basic.
