The elliptical exercise machine causes all of a person's muscles to engage, including their pull muscles in their back and biceps. Feel the burn of an elliptical machine in the quads and calves with help from a fitness trainer in this free video on exercises and working out.

I still have some fat to lose (I should probably be around 160-170lbs, going by what I've got left on me and since I don't have a lot of muscle) but I'm just amazed at what a difference changing my eating/drinking habits made. It was a slow drop without much exercise but a steady one. I'm now trying to get into the habit of doing 30mins on an elliptical every 3 days or so (I have a cheap one at home, it's squeaky and rocks around but it works) when it's time to wash my hair anyway.

I also used to only be able to do 1 pushup. I'm now 22 years old and weigh around 180lbs. I would say that 95% of my weight loss was just cutting out soda, drinking water, and eating about half as much food as I used to, though still the same kind of stuff. I rarely (I mean RARELY exercise), but now when I give it a go I've found that I can do 30 minutes on the elliptical at a moderate pace and tension level (1 min break at 20 mins for water) and can do 30 pushups without stopping.

It definitely will if you improve yourself. I used to weigh 280lbs (5'11 male, was about 20 years old), drank soda all the time, overate all the time, was fat and nasty. I could do about 2 minutes on an elliptical machine (at a slow pace) before I had to stop and felt like I was dying.

  • I hate the way he talks too. It's annoying. It is!

  • I've noticed an incease in waist size and thigh size from using this machine. Not good. Also blisters on the toes.

  • @spellaho umm you were on this page. are u an overweight piece of shit?

    i think so

  • Did 65 mins on it. Last week I could not do over 2 mins

  • @spellaho it will get better. Just stick with it. Considering it's 7 month since you posted i guess u must've achieved all ur set goals by now.

  • @spellaho hahaha! that's good stuff!

and you did it all w/out a bulky elliptical machine!

  • @bahouda2000

Oh my goals going just great bahouda!!...

I got rid of the useless boyfriend, moved out, left the stupid ellipital machine in the empty house....Loaded up the chevy, pulled off my rear view mirror, so I didnt look back... Crossed the state line, got a new place to myself, got a job, and lost 25lbs...Thanks for asking.

PS.. I hated that mofo machine lol
