Gaining height again, up a spectacular, long gorge to a high camp at 4020 m ASL. Passing through mountain farming communities and a school, this really shows how people live at high altitude in remote mountains. The camp at the end is our base camp for the next day's crossing of the eerie, rusty red landscape of the spectacular Ancascocha High Pass which will be in Ch (13) which is still being edited.
