  • My sister in law fries the tortilla strips with oil in a pan and then she adds eggs once the tortillas are nicely fried. She scrambles the eggs in and then adds salsa de pato ( the red sauce from the can ) and she adds queso de cotija or whatever...that salty white mexican cheese. =] Very simple but yummy.

  • Yo no había  visto ese tipo de chilaquiles yo los hago con salsa echa en casa frita la tortilla y la salsa. Ya me dio hambre mañana me hago unos en la mañana .

  • I use unsalted tortilla chips or strips, to save a couple of steps. another variation would be to add shredded chicken and/or scrambled eggs.. yummm!!
