NNNHHHHAAAAARRRRGGGH!
-
It so turns me on when the victim says NNNHHHHAAAAARRRRGGGH! before it explodes.
-
@macnahamic ROFL like letting the werewolves in when the mansion is under siege and getting 2 other players killed? No one let me play a Malk again after that.
-
Don't go out alone? Why? So my friends can get sprayed with boiling blood when I explode?
-
@macnahamic pfft all of them are good you crazy ass!
-

yes in this game tremere and malkavs own, but if you'd actually play the paper and pen rpg, you'd curse them for their prerequisites!
A tremere needs a year of tutoring in the ways of the tremere and a malkav... well you have to role play your retardedness once in a while and that might go wrong.

I'd love to play the PnP version. I know Masquerade has been replaced with Requiem, but someone must still be playing it! I hear Requiem is hugely inferior...

Requiem is similar to the Masquerade system. It's main difference is, that kindred are way more powerful (in some opinions way too powerful) than in the Masquerade system. Besides, the way you roll your dies is different. While in Masquerade to investigate something successfully you roll perception + investigation, with Requiem I understood it's different - thus requires adapting to something new.
I still play the PnP version with my gf. I'm a toreador and it's very entertaining! :D

I understand a lot of the clans are gone, and that Malkavians are just a bloodline of Ventrue :(

Yea... Well anyways. The game bloodlines is cool, yet it saddens me that clans like the Toreador are utterly useless in this game, for only Celerity is actually deriving from the PnP books. Auspex got massively nerfed and so did Presence. If you play the PnP version and aim for less fighting and more persuading and sneaking, then those two disciplines are the A and O for a Toreador.

I played Redemption. It was an awful game in many ways, but it did have more abilities under Auspex and Presence that were cool.
