Wi-Fi Battle #404 (Killer Nacho vs 777pokemonmaster)

So one of the fun things I decided to do over last weekend was build a Sun team. Sunny Day was always a weather that I felt was neglected, but it did get some interesting new toys in Gen 5 I wanted to test around with. While its still not on the same tier as Sandstorm and Rain, it can be pretty deadly when used right. Anyway, while testing today after work, I got into a battle with a guy named 777pokemonmaster from TPX. This ended up being a great and close match that showed off the potential of my Sun Team, so we both decided it was worth posting. Hope you enjoy! Anyway, leave a comment about your favorite Pokemon to use in Sun teams (aside from Ninetales for obvious reasons).

@Mstar82 I think what I said before answers your question. For something like mixmence of course you need max attack and special attack, and for Alakazam, you're right, attack isn't needed, but it doesn't matter what poke it is - max defenses can be the difference between a sweep or a dead glass cannon

@Rhydiculous34 ok lets make it very easy: when you pokesav and go for a Salamence (MixMence) do you have all IV's at 31? Or when you go for Alakazam, do you have all IV's at 31 or all but (physical) attack? (as its not needed?) Or do you just have Speed and Special Attack at 31 while the other stats (Def, SpDef) are on lets say 22+ ( to make it more 'realistic')?

I know its kinda confusing but I hope I got my point across :/

@Mstar82 I'm not sure I understand what you're actually asking, but I think it would be unwise to have a pokemon with imperfect defense IVs whether or not they are offensively or defensively inclined

@Rhydiculous34 but all the calculations on smogon university are done with all stats at 31 right? for example a physical attacker doesnt need spattack at 31 but what is with its defense/spdef ? Or are only the stats important that you give EV's to?

I breeded on my HG many Pokemon with 3-4 stats at 31 which led to 500h of gaming (400 of them just for ev breeding etc.) but I am kinda a perfectionist and especially pokemon that require 4 stats at 31 (empoleon eg) is too hard
