I dont like Rob between them, that just ruins everething. There is always such a visable vibration when Lucy and Ren are togethere but with him is just not it. He is ok, cause he 'created' Xena and makes Luce happy but hey man dont sit between them again!

@BizzyKiel Actually, him saying "You guys made me shoot this, I didn't want to" sounded like he was being sarcastic. Like he enjoyed shooting it, cuz then Lucy mocks him with "kiss her! kiss her!"...so it sounds to me like he enjoyed directing his beautiful wife to kiss another beautiful woman. lol hey that's men for you. That's pretty awesome if you ask me. xD lol opposite of jealouse me thinks.

@Kazanskoe57 Uuh, you can be attracted to a lot of people and still be in love and marry your partner in life. Lucy and Renee may be attracted to eachother, but in a very passing way. They're oubviously good friends and get along, but some (not all) of the fans of "subtext xena/gabrielle" just see and exaggerate stuff. Fans of any relationship in media do that...I do that with some couples too. But the truth is it IS exaggerating.

xena came out when i was in primary school and i used to be obsessed... then when it ended i was depressed for months... when i came out to my parents 4 yrs ago my dad said he knew cuz i was obsessed with xena... i just got back into it last year and now all i look for is subtext! lol!

i think Xena in general was a mix between many culture and great story mix. this series have action, comedy, romance even parody ! and its talks about human relation in many ways, so Xena was a universal series. and yes in fiction Xena and Gabrielle was a lover. the dancing and chemistry was perfect for it, but they describe it in soft way and not in lust way. thats how i see about their relationship.
