  • @archerfamily2 I prefer the harness. it takes a while for the dog to get used to the halter so when you buy it you can't start using it straight away, you have to get them used to it, but the harness you can use immediately. i've used both and my dog definitely prefers the harness

  • i hate that there is writing all over this!

  • whats better the Harness or halter? I have a Great Dane 7 mths 111 lbs and every time I use the Halter he leans in with out any pressure on his face. He walks great on a regular collar tell you are pushing a stroller I need something that he is more comfortable with should I try the harness instead of buying the next size up in the halter? What do you all think?

  • By comforting the dog, you reassure the dog that it is okay to exhibit whiney, nervous behavior. By discouraging this behavior, it will lead to a calmer, happier dog. By whimpering, they are exhibiting fear or a sense of imbalance and if you comfort them, it reinforces the behavior.

  • I think the dog doesn`t like the owner/trainer much. In the video where this woman was putting the harness on the dog, the dog whimpered and she told it to be quiet in a commanding way rather than reassuring it. I think she may be good with training but not loving a dog. This dog clearly isn`t comfortable w/her & I think that is why there are so few comments b/c ppl get a bad feeling when they see this poor, unhappy dog.

  • Thanks for the video! Wow, you'd think after almost 4000 views there would be a few more comments. Ha, I think I ruined the silence though... :/
