I've always found it helpful to tune up to the note but I never really understood why. Thanks :)

Ohhh... I've always thought that I have to press the 5th fret of all strings to tune it right... looks like I missed the part on how to tune the 5th string ;P Thanks ;P

@Nutmuffin12 Hey, douchebag, I know what a fret is now. I posted that comment over a year ago, so I don't need every single person who JUST discovered this video to comment me about it. Also, my original comment has almost fifty "thumbs up" on it, which means I'm not the only one who was frustrated by this video at first. You shouldn't have replied to my comment if you had no clue when it was posted. You should have done a little due diligence, then replied.

@dannyboylee You shouldn't have gotten a guitar if you have no clue what a fret is. You should have learn a little about them, then gotten one.

@dannyboylee you cant tune unless you dont have an idea how to play.

Dude, what is with these tuning videos on YouTube? I'm tuning my guitar for the first time so I can learn how to play! I don't even know what a fret is. I'm with you up through tuning the A string, then I'm lost! Arg!
