As well as sourcing the majority of its ingredients from the UK and Ireland, McDonald's has committed to raising awareness of the vital role of British farms. The commercial delivers on this promise with a quirky celebration of British weather and its importance to our farmers. Filmed on location in Derbyshire, Cumbria and Staffordshire at farms supplying McDonald's with organic milk, free-range eggs and potatoes respectively, it celebrates the role of the British farms which supply many of the quality ingredients for McDonald's food.

  • Hello from Leo Burnett. This commercial was shot in many different locations, Manchester and surrounding countryside, Derbyshire, Staffordshire, Cumbria, the England/Scotland boarders - all over. The footage captured on farms was shot on the actual farms that supply McDonald's.

  • Yep, the couple don't want to use their boat to endorse McDonalds just as McDonalds jump on anyone who tries to use their branding without permission.

The area it was shot (Haverigg Cumbria) is about 45 mins drive to the closest McDonalds and am not aware of the local farms supplying McDonald.

  • they have banned it because of the boat at 0:14
