This is a complete list of the organ tracks played in the "Fairground Organ" loop played by Merry-Go-Rounds and Carousels in Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 & 2.

These tracks were originally recorded in 1976 by the C.J. Mead Organisation, from a Voigt Model 35 69-Keyless Street/Band Organ at Bressingham Steam Museum, Norfolk. Called the Bressingham Voigt, it remained there for many years, but was eventually sold and now performs in the Netherlands. The record was owned by Chris Sawyer's father, and it's tracks were used in both RollerCoaster Tycoon 1 & 2. From what I understand, all of these songs are original arrangements from the Ruth Fair Organ Company.

Each of these eleven videos contain one of the songs, are numbered in the order they appeared in in-game lists and on the original LP, with the name of the song, as well as it's original writer.

#1: Children of the Regiment (Die Regimentskinder Marsch) [Julius Fucik]
#2: Heken's Serenade [John Heyken]
#3: In Continental Mood [Unknown]
#4: Wedding Journey [Traditional]
#5: Tales from the Vienna Woods [Johann Strauss]
#6: Slavonic Dance [Traditional]
#7: Das Alpenhorn [Traditional]
#8: The Blond Sailor [Traditional]
#9: Poet & Peasant Overture [Franz van Suppe]
#10: Waltz Medley [Johann Strauss]
#11: Bella Bella Bimba [Traditional]

  • I saw the organ on the front cover of a record for sale, you can probably still see it, it's on Ebay.

  • You mean "The Bressingham Voigt" LP put out by the C.J. Mead Organisation that these recordings originate from?

I have indeed seen in appear many times on eBay, but I haven't bought one (I'd like to).

  • how did you get those tracks?.

  • I ripped them from the game.

  • This is quite the music piece. I've been looking everywhere for this. Thank You!!

  • Of course!

  • This was one of my favorites! I remember unconsciously humming along to it when I played. I miss this game. :(

  • 3:04 - 3:23 reminds me a little bit of the first part of EwyiPNP88hI (0:06 - 1:00, just before it switches to "Funiculì, Funiculà")

  • I'm still waiting for the moment the ride will have a control failure and the music will go crazy...
