  • Funny I never get into martial arts discussions with people on line. I find most martial artist to be wierdos. LOL! But I had to comment on your reply. It seems to me that you are only familiar with the first form of Wing Chun. Yes, in the first form that practitioner's body is restricted limiting him to keep the shoulders square and only punch with the arms. The turning of the hips and further development of the punch technique does not come into play until the student gets to the second form.

  • I love watching Master Wong slap that kid silly.

  • @HybridDragons My pleasure brother. I think the beautiful thing about the mastery of and Martial Art is the ability to stop, control, or overcome any attacker without the need to hurt them. I think of Musashi fighting off trained and deadly swordsman with a tree branch and think, "That's the level at which I want my Art to operate." They say that Ip Man was able to completely control any one of his students (including Bruce Lee) without ever having to hurt them. This is mastery! Train hard bro!

  • @wizedomeallah Ah clever! I might try that in the future! Thanks for getting back at me, this advice to me is worth a lot of money! I must perfect my Siu Lim Tao, learn Boxing and Fitness, My BJJ is easily my best attribute - All my little meaning School scraps were won with BJJ, And I never had to hurt anyone, which is why I love BJJ. However, there will come a day when I will have to be ready to show no mercy. That's where WC Boxing and Muay Thai Might come in - Time to train. Thank you.

  • @HybridDragons Great question. For me, it's all about range. Wing Chun is a close range fighting system. So, I use it almost exclusively in that range. I use Western Boxing at middle range, just enough to evade, strike, and enter. I have a good kicking background via Tae Kwon Do so I use that (just the kicking) mixed with Muay Thai at longer range for entrance. And, I use BJJ for grappling range.

  • @wizedomeallah I know you posted this comment long ago, but I'm curious, how did you make them work together?

  • This. Is. FAST !!!

  • ur mum .....ur bora

  • @Dragoncannon4 It also teaches to kick the boxer in the nuts, poke him in the eye etc. How good is a boxer's defence against a headbutt or knee to the groin from the clinch. Maybe that is a big flaw in the boxing system because it was designed for people to fight in a way that they won't get badly injured

  • The problem he is having is he isnt punchin fast enough. He needs to punch him while he is trapped before he forces his arms up.

  • @RabbitMB two wongs dont make a white
