  • burger king has the best hamburger

  • Where is this lathe? I'm looking for relatively large vertical lathing capabilities.

  • i have sold cutting tools for over 21 years..you dont use coolant on cast..it will thermo shock the insert and break down faster..its music to my ears ..you will go thru more inserts running coolant..

most the time on big ..any parts run it dry..or Mist..

  • I machine cast iron and use coolant. It makes my tooling last a lot longer

  • to themachinist8...Fuck you asshole!! your such a douche bag. was just a decent comment and you have to be an asshole.

  • @RUSSSELLLLL of course you don't use coolant on cast iron. you yutz.

  • maybe we didnt need coolant. we were running the same sort of parts. cast iron turning was so messy lol. dont miss it.

  • @RUSSSELLLLL

Depends on the job and feedrate...

  • I used to turn cast iron but we used coolant too. No coolant here?

  • I am also Canadian living in Mississauga , Ont.
