Color Recognition is key when solving any rubiks cube. The faster you recognize colors, the faster you know what to do. It takes you a while to do the centers...
Oh and v-cubes come with "lube" in them already so clean out your cube of all lube and then make sure its clean. Then re-lube it with whatever you did before

if its the centres, then find shortcuts fro differnt moves... that might help. i did that my times where 6 minites ish, becuase of centres, but i worked my own way now my times are at the moment .... 44 seconds, wait no, 45 seconds sorry that was being a bit too unrealistic!
